PANTHER CD COVER PAINTED BY JENNIFER WARD

Jennifer Ward has just finished painting the P for Panther CD cover for their debut release “cubism”. She has created a dark moody piece reminiscent of the haunting music created by the group. The back cover features the Parisian apartment where the artists recorded the majority of their first EP but with a twist; they’ve fallen through a hole in the floor and can been seen as traditional puppets with their strings cut, below in a dark basement. P for Panther’s cubism EP is currently being printed and shrink wrapped and will be for sale via the woodshed shop in the near future.
Simon has just finished a remix of Radiohead’s song “Nude” from the album In-Rainbows. It was for a competition organised by Radiohead
P for Panther have just composed music to a short film Directed by Marilou Chabert, François Goupil and Anna Mimouni. The short was entered into a competition organised by Michel Gondry. There were around 2,500 enteries and sadly the film didn’t win. However it has been entered into the Montreal Film Festival.
At a party in Brooklyn, New York - The legendary Dreddy Kruger, formally of Wu-Tang Clan and owner of Think Differently Music Group crossed paths with none other than our very own, Daniel Jackson. Dan handed Dreddy the Sturgeon’s Catch and Release CD and then promptly hijacked the nearest hifi to give him a taster. Mr Kruger enjoyed the sturgeon and Dan told us he was “he was getting down to it and even kept the copy.” Later Dreddy asked Dan if the Virgil Sturgeon would be interested in producing some music for the artists on Think Differently - he now has the telephone number to our woodshed HQ in the UK.
